Dune - Los Angeles

I absolutely love Dune! Their Mediterranean food is fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. It's far superior to what you'd expect from a fast-casual spot. This place is truly a gem in Downtown LA. I just wish they had a few more seats for dining in, but if you're lucky enough to get one of the sidewalk tables, you'll feel extra special. I highly recommend it!

I ordered a simple falafel dish, and it was absolutely delicious. It came with a tasty sauce and fresh dill, and the falafel had a wonderful crunch. However, the customer service was quite unwelcoming. We ended up leaving for another restaurant because we weren't greeted or shown to a table, even though there were seats available and we had asked for assistance.

The food is delicious! I ordered the Lamb Mezzanine Plate, which was good quality, flavorful, and well-cooked. However, I'm giving it three stars due to the value for money. At $18, the plate doesn't come with any rice, just two pieces of lamb totaling about 3 ounces and two large farfalle pasta. If pita isn't included, a rice option instead of extra cucumber would be preferable. For that price, I think the lamb portion—or any meat portion, for that matter—should be increased to 5-6 ounces to provide better value for takeout. Otherwise, it feels like you’ve overpaid for a salad with a small amount of meat. Aside from the price concern, the food is excellent! I would definitely recommend it.

Great hummus and falafel. Tasty and fresh, be sure to ask for hot sauce. No seating inside, there are a few tables out front, some with umbrellas. Primarily setup for pick up/take out. Definitely worth visiting.

Nice food. But not safe place i gusee? They didn?t let me wait for the food inside even tho I told them I was afraid of homeless person who came to me asking for money. They just said ?Everyone have to wait outside.?
