They bake all baked in the house. the calal salate has fermented meyer lemon juice. the sitting outside is loud, right on the street, the pedestrians and their dogs are sweet.

I almost don't want to write this because I fear the word will get out even further. I love DT so much. Incredible people, wonderful drinks and the food is upsettingly good. I've never had croissants this good anywhere else in the US.

Visited for the first time to get an espresso drink and I was very impressed with the quality of my iced mocha and the care that went into making it. Espresso is strong, authentic and made by an authentic Italian espresso machine. Bakery items are fantastic as well. Try the croissants and cakes that are baked fresh each day. I will definitely be back!

Incredible food and drink.The hibiscus iced tea was to die for.While choosing what to order, staff pulled out a tray of croissants and audibly exclaimed how incredible they looked... And as a French Canadian who's eaten LOTS of croissant... THEY WERE INDEED BREATH TAKING.Resulting croissant sandwich was to die for.

One of my favorite cafes in LA. Absolutely wonderful pastries, coffee and such a wonderful lunch menu. The chicken salad sandwich was the best thing I've ever eaten. The owner is a gem and the entire staff is friendly and welcoming. Definitely stop in here, even if it's just to pick up a quick coffee.
