It turned out to be a hidden gem in the downtown area, with charming decor, delicious drinks, and fantastic food. Every dish was expertly prepared, showcasing freshness and skill. I will definitely be returning here again!
The restaurant has a great and relaxed atmosphere with excellent decor reminiscent of the Haunted Mansion without the creepy factor. Their Mac n cheese is one of the best I have ever tasted. The Scotch egg was good, but the yolk was a bit dry.
I absolutely loved everything about this restaurant. The staff was incredibly nice and friendly, and I adored the setup of the place. It was great that they had their menu displayed outside so that new customers like my friend and I could get an idea of what they offer and the prices before going in. The drinks were fantastic, and I appreciated the slightly dim lighting which created a cozy atmosphere. As a huge Harry Potter fan, I felt like I was in the movie with the ambiance. The restrooms were clean and impressive, with motion sensor sinks that were convenient. Just be careful not to accidentally turn them on with your purse like my friend did! Overall, it was a great experience and I can't wait to go back and take more photos to share.
This bar has so much personality! From the moment you step through the solid front door, you are inundated with portraits of fascinating people from yesteryear. Magicians, scientists, circus performers. Then the highly attentive and server comes by (don't remember his name but he had facial hair) and hangs out at your table to tell you a bit about the history of the place and the photograph you were looking at. He convinced me to try an interesting sounding drink that has you pour the liquid over a sort of merengue (vegan) and watch as it has a chemical reaction before you take in the floral aroma and subtly sweet and distinctly unique flavors. The chicken bites were the best I've ever has, juicy and flavorful enough that you don't even need sauce. The mac n' cheese was delicious and my dad was very pleased with the fish n'chips. Definitely frequenting this place in the future!
The restaurant had a fantastic, laid-back atmosphere and charming decor reminiscent of a haunted mansion minus the creepy vibes. The mac and cheese was one of the best I've ever had, and the scotch egg was delicious, though the accompanying yellow sauce was a bit dry.
