Civil Coffee - Los Angeles

Great indoor/outdoor space. Excellent coffee and crafted coffee drinks. The pastries looked bomb and very similar to the ones at maru.Food: 5/5

Ordered a cortado and iced oat latte. I’m used to a lighter roast but the cortado tasted great, not sure what oatmilk is being used but it was delicious. Wait time wasn’t long at all and the line was at the door. Great shop all around, will be back when I’m in the areaFood: 5/5

Awesome ambiance of bustle and relaxation. The staff is the primary reason that I return daily: energetic, friendly, attentive, and engaging. The coffees are awesome as well, but nothing tops their blueberry muffin.Food: 5/5

No one does cinnamon infused coffee quite as well as Civil Coffee. Great coffee (try the Figueroa if you’re a latte fan and are feeling daring) Delicious food (the sourdough is amazing) Friendly service Pleasing ambience, between mid century, modern and preserved old city (brick) Solid napkins. Hear me out – normally, I have to go up for more napkins, but a single napkin here has everything you could want in a napkin— it’s durable, absorbent, and it unfolded twice more than I would’ve expected.Drawbacks: it’s pretty small, and as a result it can be… loud cramped few open tables at any given time no wifiI understand that some coffee shops, purposely don’t provide Wi Fi as a means to combat the former drawbacks, but it also works against them in cases like this, where, as much as I enjoyed my experience here, I likely won’t come back as I’m unable to work here.All in all, a wonderful experience. Highly recommend. ??
