However, I'm not sure if it was worth the $20 price tag, which is the most I've ever paid for a burger. The hummus wasn't the best, but the mac and cheese was tasty, though the portion size was a bit small. Happy hour menu offers various foods and discounts on drinks from 4-6pm. The appetizers are small and pricey even during happy hour, but the atmosphere is popular. Parking is paid on the street at $1-2 per hour, which is reasonable compared to DTLA. There were a few instances where we were forgotten about and had to ask for water, menus, and plates, especially since we were a large group. Overall, for the higher prices, I expected better service.
The staff was incredibly friendly. We had brunch and were seated quickly on a weekday. The breakfast sandwich was delicious and the sweet potato fries were also excellent and not soggy. The coffee was fantastic.
I recently added Bon Vivant to my list of favorite restaurants since moving to the area. This place is a hidden gem that offers delicious menu options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as daily specials that you won't want to miss. It's a fantastic spot for meeting up during happy hour, grabbing a quick coffee, or picking up some essentials for a cheese plate. The staff at Bon Vivant is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you're in the Atwater area, be sure to give them a try!
Excellent place with a very special European-Italian atmosphere. Everything there is delicious. The cheese boards are made especially for you by a cheese specialist who first comes to your table to discuss your preferences and then prepares the board himself. If he is not there, there are no cheese boards that day. Five stars also for the waiters, who are always in a great mood. Live music. good drinks, it all makes thumbs up! By far my favorite place.
I like the ambiance of this French cafe/ restaurant. The music is nice too. I had the chicken pesto sandwich and it’s good. The sayer was good. I didn’t like the bread that much because it wasn’t toasted that much. The chicken could have been juicer and more flavorful. They actual put a lot of chicken. Comes with salad or fries. Prices are a bit higher than other places. There’s an outdoor patio. There’s no wifi on weekends. You can park in the residential area for free. Feel good to work on your computer. They have communal tables. It’s a nice place to come drink wine and eat cheese. Voila!
