Bicyclette - Los Angeles

Last night I came to dinner after bicyclette for the first time to celebrate my birthday. I would like to first order the sommelier, who was very attentive and made an important suggestion, cocktails or wein from the menu as the cork fee is so high $75 that it was not worth the bottle champagne that I had brought along. I respect that she has given us decision and given us options. on the other side were eating and service quite moderate. we ordered the wobble tarte tatin, which was the best piece of our meal, but the lobster was tiny of itself for $46 (real) the kartoffels of the maish were watery, and the bouillabaisse broth was simply ok. After the conclusion of our meal we decided not to desert and to finish our mediocre experience. our waiter knew that it was my birthday and that he added harms, he brought me a candle on a teller to blow! nothing on the plate with the candle, not even a piece of chocolate or a little funny bouche, for example. I write to them about my experience, since this was really an insulting end of a very expensive and moderate meal. the higher quality and experience expected by the owners and chefs was not existent. I was so excited to try this restaurant for my birthday, and unfortunately it was a complete disappointment. I don't want to come back or recommend it to my friends. nathalie kakone

That has become one of my favorite spots in la. feels like chicago or nyc and has the best energy and consistency in large foods.

The food was mostly spectacular. The caviar egg, baguette, onion tarte, escargot we’re all so delicious! The mains were less impressive and honestly a let down. The bouillabaisse was way too fishy tasting. And the halibut was not cooked as described on the menu. Finally, we were really disappointed by the service. Our waiter was quite rude, did not give any direction for how to navigate a complex menu, and was quite pushy about the timeframe and order in which we built our tables order. Finally, several drinks took an excessive amount of time (30+ mins for an iced tea) and 4 requests with waitstaff to finally receive. Overall a good food experience, but wish the waitstaff was on par with the amount of money we spent.

Food was excellent; service was not as good as it usually is.

Wonderful dining experience. Food was delicious! Service impeccable. Can’t wait to go again!!!
