Lisa's Tea Treasures - Los Altos

I hosted a bridal shower here earlier this month, and it was fantastic. The staff was incredibly helpful and considerate of our various allergies and dietary preferences, whether it was vegan or gluten-free. We were moved to the private room upstairs, which was ideal for our group of 17! The food was delicious, and we enjoyed a selection of teas. One of our guests couldn't make it at the last minute, and they thoughtfully packaged her meal and tea to go. It truly was the perfect venue and atmosphere for a bridal shower! Gluten-Free Review: I had a pleasant gluten-free high tea experience. They offer a dedicated gluten-free afternoon tea option, though it comes with a $5 surcharge compared to the regular menu. The gluten-free bread provided is whole grain, which is a bit unusual for tea sandwiches. However, the gluten-free scones were delightful! Additionally, I received a crustless quiche (which was tasty), a lemon bar (a bit too sweet for my liking), and three pieces of fruit. They prepare gluten-free items in a separate area, and they advised that if you have a serious concern like celiac disease, it's best to inform them so they can take extra precautions.

The restaurant has a charming appearance, but the waitress was quite rushes us to make our selections. The food was just average, and overall, the experience didn't meet the standards I expect from a tea place, especially considering the prices. I won’t be returning.

The tea sandwiches are absolutely delicious! Thank you so much for the adorable packaging; the flowers were a lovely surprise.

The price for the tea sandwiches was outrageous, especially considering the tiny portion (only 6 sandwiches). They also tasted rather mediocre. These bite-sized sandwiches were not worth the $19.99.
