Incredible fine dining experience. Gracious and lovely staff. Every bite was perfect.

Dinner for two $996.00 no alcohol, very overpriced and overrated 18% service charge added to our bill to cover their employee costs. We had to add a gratuity on top of the undisclosed 18% service charge. I thought that was the gratuity added to the bill, but I was told no that is a service charge to cover employee’s health insurance. Almost $1000. for dinner for two. No meal is worth that much. No wonder there were so many empty tables. A very deceptive and inhospitable way to treat guests.

First half was delicious! some of the desserts were a miss but overall a solid, delicious, unique dining experience

Kato has to be one of the best restaurants in LA. They have every box checked. Interior design, lighting and noise. Friendly staff that enhance the experience Amazing unique food, flavors and plating I booked a reservation for my Fiancé’s birthday. They asked me before we came if we were celebrating anything and I told them birthday. They asked for my Fiancé’s name and then greeted her and wished her a happy birthday when we got there! The attention to detail at Kato really enhanced our experience there. If you’re thinking about booking, please do. It was an experience we won’t forget.
