Moons espresso bar - LORNE

The restaurant had a long line outside, and I can see why. The coffee was fantastic, which is not something I say often. Although I didn't try their croissants, they smelled delicious.

SURPRISE HIT! Parked the car, crossed the road, and decided to go into the first place available (considering pram as well) so we just walked in. Service was, well so so. Didn't need any I guess as its such a small establishment. Looked around their salad prep and wow, flies everywhere. It had nothing going for it. But, once the toasted pides came out, everything was forgiven. Wow. Seriously, bread and filling, how good could it be? It definitely made an impression on me and family. Will be back.

Nice cafe to stopover for food fuel. Ordered chicken pide, ham and cheese pide, and green smoothie (so much goodness in it- spinach, kale pineapple, mint, lemon, banana, cucumber and coconut water). Everything was great. Felt the chicken pide tasted better than the ham cheese pide though.

We stopped at this cafe on our drive back to Melbourne and we are so glad we did! It was a busy Saturday but the service was amazing and the food came out so quickly. Eggs and bacon cooked perfectly and the chicken toasted sandwich was delicious. Also loved the banana smoothie, just wish we had got one each instead of having to share! If only this was my local cafe, I’d come here every weekend!

We also ordered takeout almond croissants and ham and cheese croissants, which were both tasty.
