There was not only multiple vegan options but they were genuinely delicious, perhaps the best Indian I have ever had (even before going vegan). Unlike some other restaurants that provide OK options just to appear diverse, the Raas Leela meals were packed with flavour and spice that anyone would really enjoy. The staff were really supportive as well, even going out of their way to check if options that didn’t explicitly say vegan were, by checking with the chefs and managers.
The food was so tasty and delicious. Staff were very helpful and friendly in confirming vegan options. The only negative was a 45 min wait for food but it was that good, I would wait 45 mins again! Highly recommend.
We dined at the restaurant on a busy Saturday evening, but it did not seem to be fully booked. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were very generous, so we had leftovers that they kindly packed up for us to take home. The vegan options were unique and tasty, different from other Indian restaurants we've tried before. However, it would be nice to see more variety in the vegan dishes, as we noticed that a couple of them had the same dahl as a base. One downside mentioned by another reviewer was the lack of attentiveness from the staff, as well as the timing of the meals. We waited almost an hour and a half for our mains, and the staff did not keep us informed about the status of our meals. We also had trouble getting their attention for water refills.
We tried the unique options of samovar and tidbit, and found them to be delicious. The five lentil dahl was especially flavorful and comforting.
