Mestizo - LORNE

After leaving an underwhelming Italian restaurant due to the unfriendly staff, we stumbled upon Mestizo and were immediately struck by the professional and vibrant atmosphere. Even though we didn't have a reservation, the owner went out of their way to accommodate us. The food was fantastic and full of flavor—highlights included the Provoleta, Ceviche, and Risotto, all of which were excellent. The bartender even crafted a special hot cocktail for my girlfriend, who was feeling under the weather, and it really helped her feel better. To top it all off, the homemade Crostata was the perfect finishing touch to our meal.

The menu was so appealing that we chose to let the chef make the tough decisions for us by opting for the five-course tasting menu. We appreciated the wide range and diversity of Latin American cuisine. Standout dishes included the Higos (figs with sobrassada and pistachios), the empanadas, and the drinks menu—don’t miss the Americano and Fernet Cola. Overall, it was a delightful experience!

The food here was absolutely fantastic! The quality of all the ingredients was top-notch, and everything was incredibly flavorful. The atmosphere was great, and I highly recommend this place!

We had a beautiful dinner at Mestizo. The food was rich and delicious, and presented stylishly. The service was good, they were very knowledgeable about each of the dishes and gave us good advice.

Food is nice and healthy. Place is clean. Staff can be moody and noisy like seagulls. Good location when you are traveling to Twelve Apostols.
