Chopstix Noodle Bar - LORNE

We had been looking forward to trying out this restaurant on our trip to Lorne. Before ordering, my son wanted me to walk him to the bathroom. I'm so glad that I did. The open kitchen door is opposite the bathroom doors, and I was stunned by the huge number of house flies buzzing around the kitchen. Truly disgusting. Thank goodness we saw that before we ordered. We left and ate elsewhere.

Great place for lunch. I had the seafood pad Thai. My husband had the Thai style snapper. Both were delicious! Highly recommend. Would definitely come back if I ever drive thru again.

Just arrived Friday night for our mini break and we were starving. Decided on takeaway in our unit as we were tired from traveling. Rang to order delivery service but it was a 2 hour wait so husband walked around and collected. No problem. Food was hot and tasty but nothing out of the ordinary however I was expecting my noodles to be long but they’d been cut up into 2cm pieces and it kind of changed the experience. Also whatever the protein we chose ie chicken beef etc there was very little of that. The food filled a spot.

Disappointing tried to order laksa and Pad Thai. Inexperienced staff who did not understand the menu. When the food came it had to be returned. Other guests had similar issues.

Our Vegetarian spring rolls tasted very strange and then our Chicken Pad Thai was very average, it was sloppy with very little freshness that a good Pad Thai should have.
