City Diner - Longview

Really nice. Good portion sizes. Food served hot and quick by very friendly wait staff. Very clean. Lots of parking. Great prices! We 'll be back! (Grounds are a bit weedy...but it 's ok. Keeps the riff raff out...you know those people who have their noses so far up in the air that they 'll drown in a good rainstorm...lol)

Great tasting food , nice portions as well.. and finally great gravy.. 11.5.23... please hire some servers with a personality, the service today was painfully slow. I say thank you every interaction with a staff member, the words you 're welcome weren 't used once.. nor were we thanked for our patronage. I 'll return, I 'll wait 45 minutes for my food because it 's really good quality, but please get some friendly staff .

The food was very bland. I ordered a western omelette and the most flavorful part of my meal was the toast with salted butter spread on it. Everything was cooked well, it just wasn’t seasoned at all. The waitress was very polite, she did not come and check on us to refill drinks (coffee) until my husband had finished eating, though. It was clean with cute hobby lobby decorations on the wall. The price is high for the quality of food. Though the coffee was good, it was not good enough for us to return or suggest it to someone. Honestly a sad testament to why the American diner is dying, being afraid to season or even just salt the food.

Second time is a charm I guess everything was great.

Very mellow atmosphere great food, great price would definitely go back. It's a cute little diner
