Williams Fresh Cafe - London

Came for a business breakfast and enjoyed the quiche even though it was lukewarm. Had to return to cash for second cup of coffee and cappuccino that took forever to be delivered.

Everyone has their coffee tastes of course. But William's stuff is plain mediocre. It is right beside Victoria Park and the Richmond Row restaurants...I expected a bit more ambiance. It needs a makeover..

Dropped in for a quick coffee and cake. Staff was friendly. Coffee was good. I had the banana-pineapple cake while my friend had the carrot cake. Both were sizeable, fresh and were very tasty, with a dollop of whip cream on the side. The place itself was clean but seemed dated. Could do with a do over. All that aside, I've been in places who's desserts left me disappointed or wanting more. Definitely would come back.

I will never step foot in this restaurant again, unless it's to speak directly to the manager & chef of this restaurant to assess their response to this ridiculous way to offer food. We ordered off the All Day Breakfast menu @ 6:45 p.m on January 4th/2017.The meal included eggs/potatoes/bacon/toast & a med.coffee. I believe the price is $9.50 - which is bad enough, considering those are standard 'diner' food items. My significant other, also ordered a 1/2 Waffle for an extra $3.00So, at those prices you'd think it would be tasty as can be & fresh?Not one item on either of our plates, were recently cooked: (1) The eggs resembled rubbery cool play-doh that did not taste like an ordinary egg. Those scrambled eggs were absolutely not cooked recently. They were likely left over from the morning.(2) The potatoes, although normal in appearance were barely warm (likely an attempt at reheating in the microwave) and had already begun to harden up. Again, likely left over from that morning.(3) The 3 strips of bacon were barely warm and look like they'd been microwaved based on their appearance. Disgusting. Again, not even remotely tasting like something that was recently cooked.(4) The 2 slices of toast were barely warm and did not have any butter/margarine on them. Are you kidding me? Who serves a typical diner style breakfast and doesn't butter the toast. (5) The 1/2 waffle, that my significant other ordered, was airy and doughy when cut into. A very strange texture. Again, it was barely warm, borderline cool. (6) A secondary issue was that our 2 Gift cards (which were xmas presents) were not reading properly on the first till. Another employee had to re-enter the entire order on his till to complete the transaction. Now, this could have happened at any restaurant, but it's worth mentioned that there were technical glitches. No jam/peanut butter/honey etc. were offered. No Ketchup was offered, we had to ask. My significant other did not finish her plate of food, due to all of the above. The one star review is for the tea. Yes - that was the only item that was freshly made, thus the normal temperature. I will go out of my way to recommend that people go elsewhere to order any food items.That is disgusting that they would serve this slop and call it food. We did not have the time last night to discuss this with management, as well as there being a large line up. It was not worth our time. Yet, I will be contacting the manager by phone, to see what he/she can possibly come up with, as an explanation. I will also be forwarding this information to head office.

Came in to grab a quick tea before an appointment today. No one was behind us In line. Not a single please or thank you from the lady behind the counter. There were two of us, after one tea was ordered, she assumed we were done and gave us a total. When we continued with our order...which we were slow with, as we're still deciding, she was not at all patient. Rather than ruin her day anymore we opted for a cookie (which was pretty good)...and went somewhere else. The gentlemen who brought us out tea was much more polite and friendly.
