It's been around in the market long enough for me to remember that the young man creating our sushi was a school kid doing home-work a few years ago. I guess you could say I have a sentimental attachment to this place. There are a few tables in this modest location and its great place to enjoy the market atmosphere. The take-out sushi is very good. The aga dashi tofu is really good as are the udon noodles.
We like to eat here nearly every Friday at lunch. The sushi is fresh, and service is fast and friendly. The location is tricky, tucked back in the north west corner of the Covent Market next to Homeopathy London. You can also enter off Market Lane. When the buskers are playing live music, and the market is packed this restaurant is a peaceful oasis of delicious Japanese food.
This is my go-to Sushi location, the itamae prepare sushi with care and use fresh ingredients, even their premade selection is great. Rice is never dried out and vegetables never limp....I love it enough to pay for delivery across town for special lunch treats at the office even though I am surrounded by other sushi options.
Udon taste like the cheap ones you buy at super market (the ones that are two dollars for four packs) _Sushi are small and over priced.
Wow, I am honestly BEYOND surprised that this restaurant has the amount of praise it does.
