Golden Lake Fish Chips - London

Drop in for lunch for the first time at this restaurant last week. The fish and chips were excellent. Great quick service and price just right. If I am ever at that part of London I will definitely dine again. Highly recommended. Thank you.

We ordered the halibut and chips in light batter. The fish was excellent, the best we have had in a very long time.The restaurant was very clean and bright. Our service was lovely. He was attentive and very polite. An enjoyable lunch experience!

Used to be 10/10 and we ate here regularly but the last few meals we had were disappointing.We paid 50$ for two halibut dinners and there was hardly any fish. Half the fillet was so thin it dried out and stuck to batter. We haven’t eaten here since. Fries and gravy were the best around, fast service even used their drive thru before!

Ordered take out, only ten minute to wait.Got two halibut and chips meals. $49 inc tax.Fries were great 8.5/10Fish was good size, regular batter, 7/10 not too greasy.Coleslaw was good 8/10.Would consider ordering here again.

It has been sometime since we 've ordered from Golden Lake Seafood and unfortunately it was very disappointing. We ordered 2 halibut dinners light batter. Cost was $50. We picked up, as we are less then 10 mins away. I was concerned when they said our dinner would be ready in 10 15 minutes. And it turned out rightly so. The chips although plentyful, were dead ...cold and limp. We needed to reheat in our air fryer. The fish was fishy ...anyone who has eaten fresh fish knows that they should not be fishy tasting. The batter was tough. And again, they were cold. For $50, this will be the last time we visit, as they were definitely subpar.
