Dragonfly Bistro - London

The restaurant is small but lovely. I couldn't believe how good the food was. It was way beyond my expectations. We had the set Indonesian meal and it was to die for, followed by an incredible creme brulee that was so smooth and creamy - made with real vanilla bean. The owner came out and chatted to us - he was so friendly and funny - definitely added to the meal and gave it a personal touch. I already can't wait to go back and try the other things on the menu. The regular menu features some non-Indonesian dishes, but I really recommended trying something new. The flavours. My god! The flavours! Go try it for yourself! You will love it!This is my new favourite spot!

The Dragonfly Bistro never disappoints! It's a small, intimate bistro on Richmond Row, run by a beautiful Indonesian couple with help from their children. The menu is balanced with options for all, but not overwhelming. Lots of locally sourced ingredients that the owner/chef takes pride in personally choosing. We often go in small groups, as it a great place to talk and enjoy company without loud music and interruptions. The food quality is top drawer. You won't be disappointed.

Just a few blocks from my home. Small and intimate with excellent food including some Indonesian dishes available on a set menu. Home cooked but better. We don't regularly eat out but when we do we often come here. Not full of loud music or blaring TVs.Great personal service.

Service was attentive. Food was sub par. Bathroom and kitchen cleanliness need work. Scallops were tasteless. Rack of lamb was not marinated well. Steak was overly sweet.

I just celebrated a major birthday here with 16 friends (including a few younger friends age 9 - 18). All of the food was FABULOUS - (thanks, Don), and the atmosphere was relaxed, fun, celebratory (thanks, Nora), the service was superb, and we all had a wonderful and memorable evening. I have eaten here about 6 times before (both at lunch and dinner), and have always had the best food. Nora, Don and family know how to make a night out a very lovely (and yummy) experience.
