Honestly, I have some chicken balls and jeez was a bust... Trying like literal cardboard. The sauce has no taste? Wouldn't buy again. Waste of my money..
This restaurant is a classic example of charming, hole in the wall, take Asian cuisine. The food comes fast, is always freshly cooked exactly right! The 'American style' objects (sweet sour dishes, chop suey, egg rolls, etc. none of them are actually Chinese dishes are as pedestrians as you can expect from such land, unimaginative food, designed as it is for Bland, unimaginative North Americans. But if you are ready to test your palate and try something more exotic (Curry Shrimp, Cantonese style Lo Mein, Szechuan Beef, Kung Po Chicken, etc., you are for a taste treat! Not that any of these dishes are particularly adventurous You will find beef tripe or chicken feet included among the ingredients in China Garden... What you find is very affordable, delicious, fresh food, lovingly prepared by a very hard working, friendly family: Mom. Dad's kids. It's just delivery or delivery (I recommend you pick up the food. We always end up with three days of food when we order, so no one ever hungers! And the reviewer 'Casualxtravel', who called the foods disgusting (with 10 exclamation mark(!?): You need a therapy to help you cope with your anger problems. Whatever is wrong with you, please do not take it to this family whose only sin prepared for you the very bland food you ordered. Please remember that these people are trying to make a life.
Saturday night, my friend and I have put an order for the pickup. When we came home and opened the food, we were both pretty disgusting. I ordered mushroom rice and it was ok, sweet and acidic pork, that was chewing and tad soggy and finally soo type, that should be a thin chicken breast easily broken....what we got was 3 inch batter on a scanned amount of chicken. It would not have been as bad, but the dough was overtaken to the point of the incredible as it was as hard as a brick. Needless to say it was not good and we will not order here again. Very disappointed. Oh and the egg rolls were so fat that no chewing was required :S
I hesitated on getting this food because I had heard bad reviews but I typically take reviews with a grain of salt, so still ordered delivery... WORST MISTAKE!! I paid $55 dollars for my meal and while the delivery time was quick, he went to the wrong door of my apartment building and told me he was at the opposite door so I had to walk back and forth twice. He then dropped my food on the floor and laughed and said you okay? . I didn 't mind, went inside and opened the food.. lots of food BUT the wontons are fried dough with no meat/cheese/anything which i had never seen before and the chop suey is chicken and bean sprouts and NOTHING else! Garbage food, the broccoli tasted weird, the noodles were dry, ETC. Worst food experience ever. I called to discuss my dissatisfaction because we don 't eat take out much and $55 is huge for us and we were so disappointed!!! The owner SCREAMED at me on the phone to the point where I had to ask him to lower his voice, telling me that 's how they make it and I can go somewhere else if I feel that way. I 'm appalled. I 've never been treated this way at a restaurant. PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fingers crossed I 'm not sick tomorrow.
