I ordered the raclette and you really can't go wrong with it. There was a generous serving of meat and cheese, along with a side of crisp, fresh salad.
If you want the real taste of what I call Alpine food, this is the place to go. My wife and I are thrilled skiers and came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and as we missed on a trip this year, we thought we would fill our cheeseries with a fondue. The food was exceptional, a true taste of the Alps. The staff was very friendly and even took a certain menu change. The sides that came with the melted cheesepot were excellent round. You couldn't harm the food. Just down, and it's probably more my hanging up than anything, the atmosphere felt slightly wrong. More café than restaurant. We went on Sunday noon and we were the only customers who probably didn't help. I hope only custom is good because this is a good meal to have with Mates. I would definitely come back in the future.
Have been here a few times before and enjoyed the food and ambience. Unfortunately food was not great this time...overcooked duck and another main of sausage casoulet were not inspiring. Two out of four mains on menu were not available- And this at 6.30 in the evening on Nov 5th (a busy night generally in Crystal palace . We had originally booked for 9pm and were told they would probably have even less available by then....must try harder!
