My partner and I recently celebrated our anniversary at Metro Garden Restaurant Bar. We indulged in a three-course meal accompanied by two bottles of vinho verde, which we found to be quite addictive. The atmosphere was delightful, featuring a relaxed vibe and charming decor. Our server was attentive and engaging to converse with. The tables were nicely spaced apart, allowing for a comfortable dining experience without feeling crowded. To top it off, our server even gave us a tour of the enchanting outdoor garden, a hidden gem of the restaurant. The evening had a distinctly European feel, with a laid-back and unassuming ambiance. The option of unlimited bread for only £1.50 per serving was a nice touch to begin our meal. I highly recommend dining at Metro Garden Restaurant Bar, particularly for special occasions.

If you are vegetarian or vegan, I would not recommend coming to this restaurant. The choices and price increase for vegetarian food are terrible. The vegetarian roast consisted of quorn sausages (which I could tell) and extremely soggy roast potatoes. I feel like I was completely taken advantage of and the service was terrible.

My partner and I went to this restaurant for Sunday lunch and it was fantastic! We tried the vegetarian roast and it was delicious, definitely worth recommending. Being a same-sex couple, we sometimes have concerns about feeling comfortable in certain restaurants, but we felt right at home in this place and the staff were wonderful. The restaurant's interior was also stunning! Overall, we had a great experience.

Very nice. Never been before. Got out for V Day and enjoyed the food and service very much. It wasn’t heaving but had a good vibe.
