Gourmet Burger Kitchen - London

I tried gbk years ago, but I think I just ordered the wrong things because I haven't been back since. but I tried one of those things, and it wasn't as bad as I remember. I ordered a classic veggie burger with thin frits and of course a milkshake, but with more ice than milk (usual request, sometimes successful.) the burger was good, but not the most delicious veggie pattie I had, nevertheless had me a veggie option. the fries were a bit on the salty side, but I like how extra thin their fries are. a novelty. the service was good and a nice restaurant that is well maintained.

Only a real Burger lover knows that burger gourmet burger kitchen mean! for a vegetarian this place is a hoot because they offer 'taste' in their veggie burger and not just salt and pfeffer! I loved her sweet potato friars with blue cheese dip!

I ate here in during the week so it was really quick to get my food. The staff is friendly as the space. Liked the food in general, I had a good cheeseburger. Oh and i loved the cute thing with peanuts thats free for anyone! Will be back :

I very much enjoyed my lunch at the spitalfields branch a couple of weeks back. As it was a friday lunchtime, the place was exceptionally busy but my friend and I managed to secure a table pretty quickly. We were then shown the lunch menu which offered a cheaper and quicker meal so we were instantly sold to the idea of having a burger, side and a drink for under £10. The ordering system works like Nandos so you decide what you have, place your order at the counter and then wait back at your table for your food to arrive. Did I mention that while you are waiting for your delightful burgers to arrive, you can also help yourself to complimentary peanuts. After a short wait we both got our hands on our 4oz delicious cheese burgers (aren't we adventurous?! with chunky skin on fries because why would you order skinny fries when you have the option of having chunky fries. The beef patty was cooked just perfectly and was covered with melted slices of cheese oozing deliciousness. I thought the size of the burger was perfect to fill me up. I absolutely love fries and couldn't fault the chunky fries here they were nice and simple! Overall, a great place to satisfy your burger cravings at a fantastic price. Definitely worth a try atleast once.

I always enjoy the burgers at GBK, though I can never finish them. Food: 4.0 I recently opted for the blue cheese burger at the Spitalfields location, and it was truly delicious! That being said, I attribute my inability to finish the meal to the cheese. I only asked for the 1 portion. . . I can only imagine how rich the two portions of blue cheese is! The skinny chips were delicious as always. If crisps and chips had a baby, that baby would be the GBK skinny chip! So cute, crispy, and tasty! My partner in crime shared a chocolate milkshake with me (seriously, kudos if you can finish one of those behemoths! The flavour was great wonderfully creamy and chocolatey. That being said, I found the chocolate sprinkles scattered throughout more annoying that anything. They don't add anything to the flavour, just an unexpected crunch I never get used to. For whatever reason, I don't like my drinks crunchy! Their strawberry milkshakes, though those are amazing! Service/ Ambiance: 3.0 The ambiance and the service are pretty interlinked in this case, so I'm rating them as one. I'm not a huge fan of this location. It is huge, but somehow completely crammed at all times. It has a feeling of being chaotic. The servers always seem a bit confused. People get pushy. They also wouldn't accept my taste card, so that was obviously pretty devastating. I'll probably be back. But the next time I want a GBK burger I may get it to takeaway.
