Cornerstone - London

From left to right, there's an armored car, followed by a tank, and thirdly, a cheerful yellow triangle with sunglasses. The military parade continues with a stationary vehicle. This is the neighborhood where Cornerstone has chosen to set up shop, an exciting area of the city. With its barbed wire and walls smiling back at you, it would be a daunting place at night when it’s dark and cold.

The standout dishes for me were the forellenpazerami and the wild black bream served with a raw egg yolk—it was truly a delight! Every dish was perfectly balanced and complemented each other, making the entire meal flow beautifully. Plus, you get two delicious desserts! The restaurant itself has a simple yet relaxed and cool vibe, without the hurried atmosphere you might expect from a trendy East London spot with a coveted star. Thanks to its neutral ambiance, it's perfect for a romantic dinner date or a gathering with friends over wine. I can't wait to return for more!

We absolutely loved this restaurant! Since I'm pregnant, I requested a few adjustments to the menu, and they were so accommodating, offering delicious alternatives like the boiled scallop. My partner enjoyed the oysters, and he typically isn't a fan of them at all! My favorite dish was the falke kiew. The staff were wonderful as well. I highly recommend this place!

My wife and I have believed this restaurant through an FT article and so glad we are over. cornerstone is one of the best restaurants in london that we recently tried. each dish served was delightful, shows both creativity and wonderfully balanced aromen. unfortunately we do not have a picture of our favorite dish of the night black bream tartare with yolk. we polished the plate right away. service was also excellent. cornerstone is a must try for food!

Tasty fish options. Accommodating with my shellfish allergy. Great service. I enjoyed the ambiance, good music and being able to see the kitchen. I enjoyed the food, but it was expensive and the whole experience not very memorable. I am happy I went, enjoyed it, but wouldn’t go back. I wouldn’t recommend for a ‘special’ eveningX
