Yuan Bao - Logan City

As a fan of Taiwanese cuisine I would say Yuan Bao is pretty good. The menu is extensive, pretty authentic and reasonably priced. I opted for one of my favourites, Ma Po Tofu and it was good. I'd definitely be back to work my way through the menu.

If you are after authentic Taiwanese food (and yes there are differences within the 'Chinese' food banner) then you can't go wrong with Yuan Bao. We go there on a regular basis. Staff is friendly. Food is yummy. Only fault is their phone system as I had to call several times to get through, should have an answering machine for call backs. Had trouble finding their menu so I took a copy and hope this is of help to other foodies.  Cheers

This restaurant can get quite busy especially weekends. It's a popular Taiwanese restaurant. I always see lots of Taiwanese eating there. The dish are quite different but it's a bit pricey too. The taste are good and the service is nice. You may want to make reservation for weekends.

We also had a coupon deal for Yuan Bao, however it was for bubble tea & a lunch box set. We found everything to be quite acceptable & freshly prepared with beautiful service. The lunch set we had was vegetarian & came with egg, rice spinach & vegetarian meats. I ordered chilli on the side so was nice & spicy. The bubble tea came in enormous glasses & was delicious

The place is a little shabby, and the service was average. The chicken was nice but the rice wasn't great. Overall experience was fairly mediocre and wouldn't be my top choice around the area.
