Chicken Express - Llano County

The tenders were better at this location than back home

They usually have good fish, but this was WAY TOO SALTY 7/30/24 at about 3:30pm. I don't know if the fish comes already breaded and frozen or if they bread it themselves, but I've never had it so salty from any other Chicken Express until today. The hushpuppies were raw in the middle because of the corn. What's that about? Texans use diced onions and jalapeños in their hushpuppies, never corn because they won't cook through. I just threw it away, and I won't be back anytime soon.

I normally love chicken express but I was really disappointed with this location. Chicken was too greasy, corn nuggets weren’t cooked enough, and the tea tasted old and dirty. When I walked in the girls working ignored me for a solid 1-2 minutes, no “we’ll be with you soon” or anything of the sort. I asked for serendipity seasoning when the employee brought me my order. She looked at me blankly, walked back to the counter, pulled out a little tub of seasoning and walked back towards the drive through without ever saying a word. Not sure if the employees were being intentionally rude or if they just lack social skills, but I won’t be back.

Used to be my preferred location for tea, but it has recently started to taste differently (like dirt). Customer service has also gone downhill (significantly). It's Cooper's for me for tea!

I am a huge fan of Chicken Express, however, the Llano,TX location needs serious help. I ordered a 2 fillet dinner, fish was super dried out, okra was burnt, and hushpuppies still raw inside. Most disgusting Chicken Express ever.
