Jessie's Hungry Hunter - Llano

I was looking for a place to breakfast in Hill Country. Not for many here. Someone at my workplace recommended Hungry Hunters in Llano. Boy, oh boy, I have a Hungry Hunter's experience. The place is a good size. Tables are not overcrowded. Beautiful local atmosphere and food not disappointed. I had such a wonderful experience. When I was so hungry, it was all the more satisfying. My husband had the lunch buffet and I wanted French toast. Definitely worth your money. Thank you for making my belly happy.

Found this café on the way from Hunt TX. Enter I guess directly when closing and it was a little annoying that the servers sweep while people eat. The restaurant was also ice cold! They had a buffet, but, didn't look fresh, guess because of the time. The Swiss mushrooms and bacon hamburgers were homemade and absolutely amazing. Fries were good too. The servers were nice

Food took a while. They are short staffed and a new cook. I had the western omelet and it was DELISH!!!!! aside from that if they have a full crew this place would be thumping. Our server kept checking in on us and kept apologizing. We understood, and were ok with the wait. Food was UHMAZING!!!! BE BACK!!

I had the steak fingers and it was very good because the dough was spiced and not too thick. We showed ourselves near the closing time by chance (I didn't know they were closed at 8) and I ended up with cold potatoes, which is the only reason for 4 stars. I could have asked if they warmed them up, but I didn't want to make the kitchen sour (the food back as the kitchen closed) But even cold they were very smooth, had good taste and no gates, which is a must for me. The price was good and since after 5 dinner we included the salad bar, which is a great value because it is a fantastic salad bar with real bacon bits, cheese, cut boiled eggs, good dressings and a variety of fresh ingredients. All in all, I want to return and try their breakfast if I have a chance and some of their other lunch and dinner. Also I will definitely be back for this steak fingers and potatoes potatoes (only hopefully next time hot).
