Very useful place with lots of good vegan, healthy and quality products. I like fresh organic fruit and veggies the most. You can find Vita Care also in Koper and Kranj.

This restaurant is located in an inviting and natural setting, with a variety of vegan options to choose from. It is a bit outside of Ljubljana, right in the BTC center. The prices are typically reasonable, and the menu offers a wide selection. They also provide fresh vegetables and a variety of organic food items.

Vitacare offers a variety of vegan options and is the go-to spot for plant-based eaters in Ljubljana. While I was shopping for Thanksgiving, I discovered that they had everything I needed except for the infamous tofurkey. However, I was able to find some fantastic alternatives during my visit.

I found everything at this restaurant to be well organized with a great variety, but it seems they focus more on healthy and organic options rather than strictly vegan choices. The selection of plant-based yogurt, vegan cheese, and vegan salami was not extensive, with many of the brands being easily found elsewhere (such as Wheaty and My Love My Life). However, I was able to discover some unique vegan products that set them apart, as well as cleaning supplies and a good assortment of vitamins. They also carry products from the dog food brand Yarrah, from which I purchased vegan pate that my dog enjoyed. Prices are reasonable and comparable to Kalcek.
