Pekarna Center - Ljubljana

The big plus of this bakery is that it really is almost always open. I had gotten a delicious and cheap pizza there in the evening on a holiday. Unfortunately, the signage in the bakery is not complete and it is not pretty either.

You can get all sorts of pies and strudels, my personal favorite is cherry strudel. too bad they are always out of vegan burek and other savory vegan goodies.

The vegan börek is the only vegan option that is filled with spinat and tofu. it could do with a bit more seasonal, but I must say it is so huge a piece that it feels satiated for several hours! the apfelstrudel is very fruity and not excessively sweet, which is perfect for me! this bakery has amazingly long opening times.

Sign on the door saying closed for holidays but not for how long (visited September 26th 2022)

This bakery is there for every time you come back from a party and its 3am and you are hungry with friends. I do normally visit during the day as a good citizen during lunch time. My favourite thing thats not labelled as vegan but it is vegan is JESENSKI ZAVITEK (autumn pastry apple, wallnuts and wild cherry)
