I came in a quite stressful time during the middle of the flight cancellations, border closures and anxious guests. The owner and the employees did their best so that I could feel comfortable and help in any way. Clean, comfortable and friendly atmospheres all around and great place to meet fellow travelers as there is a bar and a café. Thank you for your hospitality Cafe Zambezi!
It is the best place to be when you are in Livingstone Town.
The rooms were clean and spacious. They made me feel like not going back to my home. Let me not even talk about the beds
Fairly good. Only problem is some of staff are rude, unhelpful spend time flirting with bar clients. These will be the downfall of the place. Furniture needs upgrade place needs thorough cleaning. Cockroaches at entrance. Some rooms have no hot water or aircon. Some nshima meals consisted roar vegetables. Maintenance and staff attitude is the main problem. Otherwise it's a very good place. The few good staff attended to us very well.
Went to the restaurant to get lunch. Orders a Lemon herb chicken with rice to go. Come home open the pack. There is a tiny amount of chips with another tiny amount of salad. The chicken portion was big. Taste: The chips were soft and had no seasoning to it that could add any flavor to it. Any they have not included a packet of salt. The salad, had the look of having some sort of seasoning but just like the chips it was poor in appearance and bad in quality. The chicken was also the same the seasoning has not aaded any flavor to the food and part of chicken was half cooked and rest was I've cooked to very hard. 2-3 bites I had was Tast like eating water and finally throw it to the bin where it belongs.
