Unfortunately, when I visited this establishment, I was hungry and ordered the only items available: jollof rice, pepper soup, and suya. I was surprised to receive such small portions, which I found to be the smallest I have ever seen. I paid $50 for my meal and felt like I was being taken advantage of. This experience has led me to decide that it will be my first and last visit to this restaurant.
I stopped by this restaurant with a friend after shopping, not expecting much. We were greeted by a woman in the kitchen who seemed to be prepping. The restaurant was empty, creating a nice, relaxed atmosphere. We ordered fufu egusi and jolof rice, along with three flan cakes, and everything was delicious. The food was authentic and satisfying, filling us up perfectly. The takeout order was hot, savory, and plentiful. The woman who served us, possibly the owner, was very helpful in explaining the menu. I had a great experience and will definitely be back to try more dishes, as everything on the menu sounded delicious!
If you're looking to grab a bite to eat, make sure to arrive early. This restaurant is known for their impressive Johnny Walker collection, especially the blue and gold labels. Don't expect to find the black and red labels here. It's the perfect spot for a late-night meal, as the staff informed me they're open until 5am. The restaurant is small with eclectic decorations that match the staff's vibrant personalities. Across the street is a bustling roller rink, adding to the lively atmosphere of the area.
Beautiful experience like none other! Okra soup, pounded yam and hibiscus juice is absolutely delicious. Met the owner, as she is very friendly. She also took her time and explained the menu, highlighting her favorite items. I will be back very, verysoon.
Came by a night after shopping with a friend, not expecting much. we were greeted by a lady who went around the kitchen, probably crowded. the place was empty, a nice, cool mood. we were given menus and decided to eat fufu egusi and jolof rice, with 3 flan cake. everything was delicious. authentic eating, and it didn't seem so much, but it filled me and my friend to perfection. hot, savory, and plentiful for a take-out order! I wouldn't have asked for a better experience, because the dame there that I think was the owner also led us through the menu. will definitely come back and try more, everything sounded so good!
