Blackbird Farms Brewery - Lilburn

We have enjoyed it in the past, but they changed which days they are open without updating Google Maps, so we arrived to find it closed.

I was surprised when Google Maps told me I had arrived at Blackbird Farms Brewery in the middle of suburban sprawl, but the interior and back beer garden deliver on the aesthetic implied by the name! My IPA was great and I look forward to returning with friends seems like a great place to hang out.

It's in a building that you wouldn't expect houses a brewery but don't let that fool you. They have a nice selection of beers and have just started a barrel program that might be worth your time and money if you're I to barrel-aged beers. Beer tastes are personal so I won't tell you that I just m ow you'll love it, but I really liked their selection. I sat at the bar, since I stopped in by myself to check them out, and had a nice conversation with the brewmaster. He was knowledgeable and helpful without gettin all in my business. I liked him. I'll definitely be back.

I've been here once and it was a great experience. I've driven by this building trice per day for the last 25 years and when I noticed the sign I had to try it. The staff at my Eye Doctor's office across the road and down the street suggested I try it so I jumped at the chance. Friendly staff and good conversation with the other patrons. I think they are planning on trying comedy here too. But I have to get details.

We love Blackbird! Matt and crew are so amazing! We have been on a cornhole league here, we played trivia here, AND we got married here! It's the perfect venue to rent out for events with 100 or so people. Did I mention the beers? I have enjoyed every one I've tasted. Support our local guys...they won't disappoint!
