Excellent food all round both our mains and desserts consistently great, friendly service and great ambiance, in a nice, rural location. Highly recommended! Love the braised lamb shoulder and the mini dessert with coffee is good if you don't have room for one of their full sized desserts. Although quite pricey, the quality of the food reflected that it was well worth it. The service was very good. My friends, who we met up with, brought along their very nervous Collie dog. The staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful. The food is fantastic, featuring a wonderful variety on the menu. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, enhanced by a lovely log fire that creates an inviting setting. I should also mention that it's dog-friendly, complete with a special menu for your furry companions.
