Visited with friends, had a drink in the Coopers Arms next door first, you can take your drinks into the restaurant, brilliant idea. The restaurant has a nice and friendly atmosphere, staff very friendly and attentive, the food was excellent, good size portions and good value for money. We will certainly return soon.

The service in the place is like a comedy sketch. The waiters (so called) are friendly, rude and confused, you never know which one you’ll get. We ordered our meal and popadoms can straight away. I was lowered into a false sense or security by the promptness of this. We waited an hour for the next cause! I asked and one waiter said you’ll be next and was apologetic. After another 20 minutes I asked another waiter how long our food would be and he said ‘ we are busy can’t you see’ and then we asked another who seemed dazed and confused. We got up and left. Absolute disgrace!

Great flavours, large portion sizes and good service. Went with a group and attentive waiters and pleasant surroundings.

Went on the 2nd May 2022. Checked their website not only 'Closed on Monday Except for Bank Holidays. Turn up at 19:00 closed up. Waste of time in checking the website and then going down to the restaurant and most important backed in a corner for dinner that day.
