The Carvery At The George - Lichfield

We celebrated our special occasion at The George Hotel on May 4th, and from start to finish, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The planning process was straightforward, thanks to the incredibly helpful Abbie, and the day itself was simply amazing. Everything went off without a hitch, and all the staff members were attentive and friendly. A special shoutout to Alan for being quietly supportive and friendly at just the right moments. We received numerous compliments about how beautiful the venue was and how delightful the food was. I would highly recommend The George Hotel as a fantastic choice for any special celebration.

My parents reserved a meaty meal for 20 people to celebrate their 50th anniversary, and we had a wonderful time. The staff was incredibly attentive, polite, and helpful; nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. The food was delicious, and considering the price, it was an excellent value. My aunt, who requires a gluten-free diet, was very well accommodated; most of the dishes were gluten-free, and there was a good selection available. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. Based on my own experience, I highly recommend The George Hotel. I would definitely return if given the chance.

We visited on Friday night to celebrate a friend's birthday, and the service was outstanding. We enjoyed a complimentary glass of prosecco with our meal. The starter was beautiful, and the chicken with Madeira and mushroom sauce was delicious. The food was served hot and promptly. It was an excellent evening, and I will definitely return.

A great hotel. cozy and cozy rooms. we enjoyed our meal in darwin. the lamb was great. the wait staff super. a simple check-in/out with good staff. only the terrace heaters were not switched on. the location is ideal for all sights of the city. a pleasant stay.
