Hunan Palace - Libertyville

This restaurant serves fantastic authentic Chinese cuisine! The General Tso's chicken was cooked perfectly - not fried and had just the right amount of sauce. My husband ordered the pork bao and it was also delicious. The lunch special included egg rolls and hot and sour soup, served generously. The owner was friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be returning!

I would give this restaurant 4 stars for its ambiance, 4 stars for the staff, and 4 stars for the pricing. The environment is nice and the staff is friendly. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but considering the portion sizes, it's reasonable. The food was good overall, although there was a small issue with some undercooked vegetables on our plate. It's a solid 4-star restaurant that meets expectations but doesn't necessarily stand out.
