Chrissoulas - Libertyville

The food was good for the price. We had the Sea Bream, Octopus appetizer, Fisherman Stew and Greek salad. The service was exceptional! The waiter was brilliant and the food was prepared relatively quickly. Why 4 not 5 stars? The inner atmosphere was VERY LOUD. We wanted to sit outside, which was much quieter and tolerable.

W-O-W. As of Iowa, we do not have many great Mediterranean or Greek options, so I was really excited to try this place after several people recommended it to me while visiting the family at home. I can't say enough good things. This place is absolutely delivered. Impossible for a foodie to decide what with all the incredible options, but fortunately we have tried many things! Need to give a scream from our waitress who was very familiar with their menu and ingredients in the dishes. Love the vegetarian options. 100% come back and try to eat my way through their menu. Note: Limited parking and reservations are absolutely necessary, especially on weekends. Favourite dishes: Moussaka, Watermelon Cucumber Salad, and Shrimp Ceviche (appearing special this night)

That was a great place. It was a word of mouth recommendation, and it was completely delivered. The Mediterranean menu with a focus on Greek. I ordered the Lamb Lollipops and the Gyro plate with a Jack and Diet Coke. Nothing to complain. Just delicious. The staff was very friendly and the owner came by to ask what I thought of the meal. Looking for something to complain about... maybe parking???? But honestly, even that wasn't bad. I went a block to get there. Would recommend this place safely, and when people visit, I will take it.

We had a nice brunch with Chrissoulas on Father's Day. This was our first visit, and they were very busy, so there were some delays at first, but I think it was quite understandable. Two of us enjoyed the Brioche French Toast, who was delicious. Another had the Baklava pancakes be aware that it is a huge portion! Coffee is served in beautiful, huge cups, and the brunch cocktails were creative and delicious. Recommend this restaurant and look forward to finding more menu.

We liked this place for our date night. We had the ceviche that was a special, the grilled octopus and pastitsio..but the best was the bread pudding dessert. That was superb! Our waiter was also very lively and friendly, we really liked him.
