Home grown BUTUAN food never gets better than Margie's. I love their place and the food is just delish!!!

In contrast to the highly positive reviews I heard and read about the establishment, the food is actually lower than my expectations just subpar and ok-ish. The prices are fair, considering their brand reputation and interior design.

Used to love the cookie monster cake from margie's. Stopped over just to buy one for my birthday today but was so disappointed with the one they gave me. the cake was crumbly and the chocolate was so sticky and almost chewy. Should've asked for a freshly baked cake. We tried the chicken pandan with bagoong rice. It was okay but everything was too oily from the bagoong rice to the chicken pandan. We also got the garlic parmesan chicken. Serving size was huge but taste wise, needed improvement.

Good music, ambience.. my dad asked for water for all of us, they only served him water. The pesto wasn't the best pesto I tasted before, I say it's not worth it's price. But good music

One of the legitimate Butuan pride, locals prefer to buy cakes and pastries here instead of the red and yellow brand. There are many food selections, from pasta to sandwiches and all-day breakfast. Salads and desserts are also available, great to finish with a cup of coffee or tea. Interior is a mix of vandal inspired walls and modern art paintings. Parking available in front.
