Gold 'n Pearl Bakery Cafe - Butuan City

Budget friendly cafe here in Butuan City. Aside from their famous breads and pastries, you should also try their rice meals, pasta dishes and drinks esp their milktea. With its location near St Joseph Cathedral, this is perfect hangout place for your family and friends after church.

Coffee is alright, not too bad. I really liked their Iced Mocha which was simple and is not overloaded with sugar. Atmosphere is calm and cozy with the cafe's industrial design. I also recommend getting their blueberry cheesecake which is a bit overpriced, if I'm being honest, but it's good nonetheless. They also offer board games to play with your friends and family. Customer service is alright. Overall a simple cafe. I rate this a 4/5 stars.

After spending almost the whole day at Metrobank, I needed something to keep me going. Gold 'n Pearl was the first one on the search list and the closest. I ordered their Hershey 's Dark Mocha Frappe. I like that I forgot to ask to make it less sweet but it was still served less sweet anyway. But I felt the coffee flavor was overwhelmed by the ice... there was just too much ice and less coffee. The whipped cream as well lacked hardness and flavor. In addition to the frappe, I tried their Blueberry Cheesecake. Though it was good, I still thought it wasn 't worth the price. The service was too small. It was whipped as I what I have observed, so they could have made the portions bigger since it 's air-filled anyway. They should also fix their tables. The one I used wobbled and I almost spilled everything on my table.

The coffee is not bad cakes are nice(quality) the service is up to standard and the place is cozy. It is the one of the places I go to for my caffeine desires

The food and drinks here are incredibly delicious and reasonably priced. The ambiance is fantastic as well; I really love the industrial theme. It's a great spot to relax with friends, especially since they have games like Cards Against Humanity and Exploding Kittens. Plus, if you need to run some errands, it's conveniently located near a bank (RCBC Landbank), the Cathedral, Guingona Park, FSUU, and a few other small shops. Overall, I’d give it a 5 out of 5. This is definitely my favorite cafe in Butuan!
