Fulcrum Coffee - Libertad

Dined here during our overnight stay Watergate Hotel early this month. I don't have any wow-moment her; the fried chicken has standard breading, the matcha choco frappe tastes like ice candy (very synthetic), etc.

Located on the second floor outside our hotel, this shop serves good artisan coffee. The shop seems to be popular with locals specially at night. Its a great place to hang out

In our place, it is not usual to find a place like Fulcrum relaxing, laidback, but with a touch of silent sophistication. Food is good, coffee of wide variety, and prices are reasonable. I have been here twice and it is nice to know...tant we have a place like Fulcrum to visit to in Butuan.

This place is one of my favorites due to the following: Taste is the very first reason. From the frappes to their smoothies to their cakes and especially their meals. Nothing beats it from a coffee shop perspective. I don't know why they don't...just make it a full blown restaurant. But the food is fantastic. My favorites include their cheese burger, their banoffee pie, their signature frappucinos, and their lattes. Yum, yum, and yum! The price is definitely upscale but probably the most affordable from all upscale coffee shops around. That is what value for money means! Unlike other coffee shops that serve their hot coffee in a covered cup and hides all their errors or mess inside, this one serves it in a cup where you could see the artistry of their obviously skilled baristas. They call it coffee art! Customer Service Their staff are knowledgable. You can ask them what a cold brew is, what a latte is, and they will answer you with a straight face, unlike other coffee shops. Try asking around and you will know what i mean. The Patio area While this is hot during the day (and they probably should put an umbrella outside so it can be used in the afternoons), it is perfect at night. There's actually a fresh breeze that gives you a relaxing feeling! Quickness of service is not as consistent as I would like, but they're usually quick when it's not too busy. And the lady advised that it will take minutes at that time because they were stacked with orders. That's why I think they should convert into a restaurant so they can accommodate ginormous orders. You could tell they do their best though. To my surprise they serve cocktails too! Not too common for a coffee shop, but great to know for a late night visit when you want to feel some alcohol in your body! The ambiance is gorgeous! Talk about lots of painting materials that look expensive. steel and wood althroughout. It feels like you are not in the philippines when you are inside. It adds to the overall experience. It works for me! Overall a very decent coffee shop!

Chill Music Comfy leather lounge chair Coffee and dessert and spirits I dropped by early evening and the place had about guests. Not crowded but not dead either Connected to the Watergate Hotel so very convenient for hotel guests if they want a different...vibe
