Cafe Europa - Liberia

The pizza was amazing and wood fired before place, the dishes were fresh and delicious, and the panini (avocado vegan cheese) had soft delicious brot that is rare for gluten-free eating.

We all had vegan pizzas. The pizzas were thin crust. No plant based cheese. All three of us enjoyed our pizzas-even the very simple marinara sprinkled with oregano. There was a resident cat who appeared very well cared for as well. We would definitely return. This is very near the Liberia airport if you are starving due to the airlines not offering vegan options ever since Covid (grrrr). We would definitely return!

Good food, specially for an area with scarce vegan options and perfect when you’re on the road. We had a couple of smoothies, a burger, grilled veggies and a fruit platter. Everything was good. There’s a separated menu for vegan and gluten free options which is great and staff is well informed.

Our family ate here several times while we were in Costa Rica. Our family's general consensus was that it was our favorite restaurant in the country. It's just outside the airport in Liberia and we highly recommend it!

We just randomly stumbled on this place while driving home from an excursion and this place is amazing! They have pizza, sandwiches, seafood, amazing steak, and just a wide array of foods. But you HAVE to try their authentic German food. I think the owner is German. There are a couple of shop pets that are so cute and friendly too. We definitely would come back
