I was disappointed that the signature dish, the Bicol Express, didn't meet my expectations due to its small serving size and not being served hot. However, I did enjoy the Kandingga, Bicol's version of bopis. The Pasta Bicolana and Tinapa Fried Rice received positive reviews for taste, but they could have been served hotter. The serving sizes are also on the smaller side, which may not be ideal for group dining. On a positive note, the unique and delicious ice cream flavors are a must-try. The service was slow, and it was a bit inconvenient that only cash and Gcash were accepted for payment. Offering more payment options in the future would be beneficial. Overall, there were some hits and misses at this restaurant. While it's good to support local businesses and try new things, managing our expectations and making informed decisions when dining out is important.
Honestly the food was just all right. The chicken was good enough to be considered comfort food. I’ve had better tinapa rice elsewhere. Didn’t get to try Bicol express because I don’t eat pork. The sili ice cream was an experience. I would come back for more if eaten with their cacao ice cream!
Food is good. Their malunggay shake is a must try. They have a lot of options of sili ice cream, no wonder that it's the original sili ice cream. Price is moderate. We had a great time dining in.
Well the food was ok nothing special. But that was the case for most of the meals we ate in Legazpi city. We had bagoong fried rice (good), fried squid (not good), bicol express (average), bistek tagalog (grissle fat) pinangat. Portion sizes were small and prices high. Flavours were on the bland side. Would I recommend ? No.
As much as I would love to support local businesses, the service here is declining. Part of what we ordered was a soup but there's no soup available. We weren't informed ahead of time as well. They also don't have service water, they only have bottled water. Their quesadillas are my most favorite appetizzer. The solo order has 4 slices and family have 8. The tinapa rice is quite bland compared to before. Will update this if I'm able to dine in again. 10/12/2022
