Guadalajara Mexican - Leeds

I only found three vegan options on the menu, and honestly, I'm baffled. What do you get when you remove the cheese from a cheese enchilada? Just an empty tortilla! I can't justify spending eight dollars on that, especially when it just comes with rice and beans—it hardly feels like a satisfying meal. I dine out to enjoy food that's better than what I can make at home, but let's talk about the beans. They claim there’s skill in seasoning them, but they taste like they were just doused in salt—there’s no other flavor. Everything else on the menu was equally bland. I've never encountered a Mexican restaurant that could mess up a bean burrito so badly. If you're looking for good Mexican food with vegan options in the city, Habaneros is the best choice. It's worth the extra trip to either grab some takeout or save your money and cook Mexican at home. Whatever you do, steer clear of this place! (Updated from the previous review on August 16, 2021)
