Pim's Thai Orchid - Lebanon

The restaurant has an established presence but looks like it has also been recently updated. We were seated promptly, which was great since it seemed like we had arrived during the weekday lunch rush. Our server appeared a bit downcast—perhaps she was having a rough day—but other staff members were more upbeat. I ordered the Pad Thai, as I find it a good baseline dish for comparison. It came with a side of soup, which was enjoyable. However, the Pad Thai itself was a bit disappointing; it seemed to lack flavor. Although I finished it and it had a bit of spice, it somehow felt somewhat bland as well. My wife seemed to enjoy her dish more than I did. If I were to pass through again, I might consider returning to try a different dish, perhaps a curry. I did enjoy browsing their drink menu, which was presented in a flip card style on the table. They offered an interesting selection, including a Phuket Island Iced Tea, and it looked like they had a full bar, although we didn't end up ordering any drinks.

The order was incorrect, and the beans weren't cooked properly. They calculated the tip amounts including taxes. It's a place where you can see the tips on the card reader right in front of you. Overall, I would rate the food a 3, the service a 2, and the atmosphere a 5.

The food was delicious. I didn't expect to find food this good in a small town. Highly recommend the drive if you're in the area

I visited on a Sunday evening, and the restaurant was really lively! We had to wait about 30 minutes for our group of five. We ordered a variety of dishes, including Pho, Pad Thai, Pad Woon Sen, Thom Kha, Duck Crispy Delight, and Fried Ice Cream. Overall, everything was quite good, but the Duck Crispy Delight was a bit disappointing—expensive and not as flavorful as expected. My daughter, who adores duck, described it as just okay. The food arrived fairly quickly, but the service felt a bit rushed. It seemed like the staff might have been tired and a little irritable at that point. I would definitely return if I’m in the area again.

I had a terrible experience with the service. The waitress seemed indifferent and did not perform her duties properly from the start. I won’t be coming back here again. The owner should take notice and ensure that employees receive proper training.
