The Greenhouse Café is delightful! As a real estate agent, I'm often out in different communities, and I love trying new restaurants while I'm there. I had the Avocado Sprout sandwich with chicken (tofu is also an option), which is pictured below. IT WAS DELICIOUS! Their gluten free bread is also very good! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend popping in for lunch when you are in Lebanon.
My wife and I have eaten here two or three times over the past two years. I always get the chicken salad sandwich. My wife has tried the Chicken Apple Brie and the Buffalo Tempeh Bowl. We always love the food. It’s delicious, portions are sized well, and prices are not exorbitant. The staff are friendly and have served us well. The atmosphere is light, airy, and comforting farmhouse meets urban bistro. We’ve enjoyed the drinks too. On today’s visit, I tried the Iced Camomile CBD Elixir. It had a refreshing, light taste with notes of camomile and coconut. My wife and I definitely recommend this lovely restaurant.Vegetarian options: You can sub tofu or greens for free here!
My true rating would be more like a 3.5.I really like the idea of this place and respect what they're trying to do with local food. The decor is nice. With that being said, I had the turkey Reuben, and it was just OK. It tasted overwhelmingly of mustard. So much mustard, and so little turkey. I think it was really missing the thousand island dressing a standard Reuben usually has, or just a creamy element to cut the tang of the mustard and kraut. The bread was good, though.I also had the hibiscus mojito. I could taste absolutely no alcohol in the drink. My sister took a sip and asked if it was a mocktail. It just tasted like an iced hibiscus tea. No mojito flavor.
Located downtown Lebanon, Ohio, this Cafe is simple, cozy, and welcoming! The food was delicious, and the drinks were unique and SO tasty! The staff was friendly, and the outdoor seating was perfect for early spring. Definitely on our list of favorites from our visit to Lebanon!
