If you're a first-time visitor, they'll go out of their way to assist you. **Ambience**: The place is quite small, with just a few chairs next to the counter. It can get stuffy due to the lack of proper ventilation and windows, as there’s no separation between the cooking area and the dining area. **Overall**: A. I ordered the rubber train, which was expertly prepared. The spices enhanced the flavors without overpowering the dish. The grain bread was also just right—not too dry and not too gooey. On subsequent visits, I tried the wings, scratch-made greens, baked mac and cheese, black-eyed peas, and red beans and rice. While the wings weren't quite as good as I prefer, they could easily be adjusted, and the dough they use adds a nice touch. The decor is perfect—simple, clean, with amusing signs and warm messages on the walls, accompanied by beautiful music from the boombox. Just a heads up: be sure to secure the restroom door before you enter. I found it to be an enlightening experience as well; I learned to order a Muddy Water instead of an Arnold Palmer. The staff here is professional, friendly, and attractive, making the experience even better. Everything about this place feels authentic and tasteful.

AMAZING Restaurant have dinner. Hubby went to dinner. I had chicken wings and my size. It couldn't believe so tasty. And three sides fabulous that were Yams Kohl Makkaroni cheese. I feel that more people should know about Dirty South Soul Food.

The best roasted chicken, greens, Mac and cheese and yams. Corn bread was wonderful. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. If you want good soul food at grear price, this is the place. Open 24 hours now! I have several meals here in the last 5 months and will have a few more in the near future.

They gotta have somebody's grandma tied up back there cooking. I swear it's that good!!! Great staff and atmosphere too. AND they're open 24 hours now! Try the fried chicken, the oxtails or ANY of the sides.
