One of the typical restaurants around tourist areas. Had a pizza there for 9 € so it is not too expensive but not a typical Italian restaurant though- means bad quality for the money paid. Go there if you are hungry and don't care about food quality like we were waiting for the ferry. Nothing special.

Service: arrogant. All waiters haven 't been in a shower for a weeks. Interior: We expected something better. But after seen the menu, it was printed out in regular A4 size paper with horrible pictures. Food: Fish platter/starter: octobussy was canned, prawns were canned, squid was canned, surimi canned, smoked mackerel was vintage , smell was like two weeks old used socks. Something with mayonnaise looked so suspisious that we didn 't even touched it! Pasta carbonara looked like spaghetti with scrumbled eggs, nothing to do with real pasta carbonara. All the pizzas were baked like cardboard bottom, and they were really greasy and salty. This type of food shouldn 't cost anything, but it was heavily overpriced. Da Rosy spoils Italian cuisine reputation.

I went there with my friend and his doughter.... they are both italian and grown up in that village!!, but we have been talking german as this is our common way of communication.. we experienced that they try to trick people with giving a different pricelist of course more expensive! the girl had a pizza and that was ok... but too expensive... we ordered fish and it was discusting... I am very happy that I know how good fish tastes! if this would have been the first time for me eating fish and shels, I would probably never again eat them! Really discusting due to quality, as the fish was obviously already very old... as they realised that we are living in laveno they tried to excuse themselfs! this is ridiculous! NEVER EVER AGAIN! there are so many nice restaurants around in that lovely village.... BUT DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE!!!

The waitress was arrogant and when the food finally arrived it was inedible,the mains arrived before a starter and the mains looked like microwave meals. So we left without eating or paying.

Several years ago I vowed never to visit this restaurant again, after my parents had visited and realised afterwards they had been overcharged. But my forgiving side got the better of me and we decided to give the place a second chance. Big mistake. Not only is the entire menu grossly overpriced for the area, the quality and choice offer no justification for what they charge. Pizzas for 13 euro? Pasta dishes for 22 euro? This is Laveno, which is lovely, but not exactly St Tropez. And all very ordinary, served in a gazebo stuck out on the car park. And two TV's showing SKY while you are eating? Luckily we were in great company, so we had a fun night anyway. Avoid this place.....
