Denunzio’s Italian Chophouse Sinatra (latrobe)

Always a great meal here. We have been eating here for years and have always enjoyed it. Great menu, local beer on tap, what more can you ask for?

Despite being located in an airport, this restaurant offers full-service dining with plenty of seating and a pleasant atmosphere. The food is good, with dinner being a better option than lunch. The staff, especially at the bar, are friendly and welcoming.

Tonight, Matteo was our waiter at the restaurant. He provided excellent personalized service! We had our 3 year old granddaughter with us, and he was very patient with her. She especially enjoyed watching the airplanes take off.

We originally came to the restaurant for the live music. When we made our reservation, we requested a table near the band, but they tried to seat us inside where the music wasn't playing. Luckily, there was one table available on the patio, so problem solved - we had traveled an hour to see the band and would have been disappointed if they couldn't accommodate that. Although the service was initially confusing and had some issues, I won't dwell on that because our waiter made up for it with a great personality and conversation, which ended up being a highlight of our night. Unfortunately, my Caesar salad had no dressing and the prime rib was too fatty and tough to eat. However, the side of pasta was decent. My husband's mushroom ravioli, on the other hand, was surprisingly good and tasted freshly made. Our child enjoyed his meal, which is always a plus (the kids menu had a lot of options). Based on the food I tried, I probably wouldn't return, but considering that 2 out of 3 dishes were good (I'll stick to a simple pasta dish next time), our waiter was entertaining, and our son had fun watching planes take off and land from the patio, I'm willing to give it another chance. In terms of kid-friendliness, children will enjoy watching the airplanes and there is a great variety of menu options for them.

This place is amazing! We went on Sunday afternoon for the surf and turf special! It was outstanding! The steak was cooked perfectly and the lobster was nice and sweet. The appetizer we had was called a tomato stack, it came with fresh mozzarella and prosciutto and it was gluten free! I would definitely order it again. For dessert, my wife had the almond tort, and my father in law had the Bavarian chocolate cake. They make all the desserts on site. Jess was out server, really nice, super helpful with everything, and did a great job taking care of us. If you are out for a drive in the Laurelhighlands on a Sunday afternoon I recommend stopping in and giving it a try. For the price and quality you can't beat the surf and turf special!
