Second Street Grill - Las Vegas

This is the so called fine dining for Fremont. The buffet and cafe is currently under renovation to make it a food court. If you have the Aloha coupon book you can order using it for about 6 items. I had the Philly cheese steak sandwich and the steak along with the spinach and mushroom omlet. All good. They are also kknown for their ox tail soup, about 16.99. If you order extra ginger they'll charge .75. I think it's better than the one cat Market Street Cafe at the Cal. Service good

Located inside the Fremont casino. It's under Boyd group which also includes the California hotel casino and the Main Street casino. We used the Aloha coupon booklet for breakfast. The coupon covers items on the menu with a palm tree. Hubby had corned beef hash and I had the mushroom spinach omelette. Choice of potato and bread. Generous portions. I'd return even without a coupon booklet. Coffee was constantly refilled. Great attentive service.

Stop into the Second Street Grill if you're ready for some good food that's accompanied by the flavor of old Las Vegas! Tip: This hidden gem is secreted near the back of the Fremont Hotel. The restaurant isn't all that much to look at, but the service is good, the portion sizes are generous, and the food is quite good. I have no problem recommending this place, and look forward to coming back soon :

This review is for the fact we went to Second Street to eat on a Wednesday and after traveling there the sign on the door said CLOSED?

Had breakfast here this morning. Different food than at the sister hotel the Cal. I like it. They even told me their Ox Tail soup was better too! Haha! Enjoyed the atmosphere and friendly Sevice.
