Andy's Drive-in Restaurant - Langton

This is the second time we have eaten here within the last month, reminded us of places we went to while dating over 50 years ago. Very prompt, waitresses are so friendly bring your order to your table. We ate inside and it was spotless. Every imaginable piece of memorabelia from coke is in this building. Fries were really good, I had the footlong and really enjoyed it. My husband likes the hamburgers and the peameal bacon on a bun. Wish all places were as clean as this place. Prices are not unreasonable, same as everywhere else. Cannot please everyone.

This is a wonderful place for hotdogs, burgers and much more and then finish it up with ice creams. The place has the looks of a 50s diner with friendly service.

Andy's Drive-In, near Langton on the main highway to Long Point, is about as unpretentious a diner as you will find anywhere. Walk up to the service window and sit at an outdoor table to enjoy your order, whether it is a generous ice-cream cone, or a meal. Or you can sit inside the dining room surrounded by 1950s-style Coca-Cola decor. The outdoor dining area is as spacious as, well, all outdoors, but the inside dining room will surprise you, being deceptively spacious... it's got a lot more room in it than you would expect from the outside.But what you stopped there for is the food. Granted, it's not a gourmet selection, just your basic fast food selections. But they are well prepared and presented with the quality that is not found at the big-name fast food places. My lunch consisted of a foot-long hotdog, an order of fries, and something I have not been able to find anywhere else... an honest-to-goodness actual milkshake made in the way a milkshake is supposed to be made. The hotdog and its bun fit each other perfectly, with just the right amount of condiments. The fries were the best you will have anywhere, and the serving quite generous. But the milkshake! The milkshake, vanilla, was a full 24 ounces of pure bliss. Not just some soft, mushy ice-cream wannabe like you get at McDonalds, Wendy's and such places, but a hand-spun blend of hard ice-cream and milk the way a milkshake is supposed to be made. In a word, incredible!When you stop there, just remember that it is a fast-food drive-in, not a Michelin 4-star dining experience. But when you leave, you'll wish Michelin had a 4-star rating for fast-food drive-in restaurants.

What an amazing place to eat indoors or outside on the picnic tables. this business is celebrating 70 yrs. in business. it offers amazingly good, local food as well as soft and hard ice cream. we enjoyed the 2 pc fish and fries meal--very, very good as the fish and fries had no oily residue. their ice cream cones are huge for a single scoop and reasonable priced compared to other restaurants in the area.

Open only in late spring to about labour day. Great place to stop for a quick snack. Out door picnic tables, and a few indoor tables. Excellent Foot-long hotdogs.
