I hate the smell of meat and I could smell it when I came here to brunch. a good selection of vegan options that were delicious. pies are good to take. updated by previous review on 2020-09-17
Very surprised to find such a big little caffe in a small town that had so many vegan options and what it absolutely delicious, well cooked and presented. themselves brought some takeaway items to have lunch the week.
This is our regular, and for good reason. Heather is a wonderful host and greets everyone with a smile. The vegan menu is expansive and the food is delicious!
I went to the Aspy today for lunch. There were 3-4 vegan items on the menu. Staff were very friendly. I ordered the vegan burger, which was lovely, but for $19 I would have loved a handful of chips with it. It was just a burger on its own. I bought a vegan mushroom and leek pie 8 normal pie sized, not a family sized pie) to bring home and eat for lunch tomorrow. They had three flavours to choose from today mushroom and leek, mushroom and asparagus and Tuscan vegetable. There were a variety of vegan sweet truffle/balls in the glass cabinet to choose from as well as two or so vegan slices.
