I’ve visited this delightful hidden gem twice, and I absolutely loved it! The food is top-notch and very reasonably priced. The $65 tasting menu is an excellent way to sample their dishes if you haven't been here before—it won’t disappoint, and it’s worth every penny. The service is another highlight; the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I'm so glad that something extraordinary has finally opened in the Macedon Ranges!

I would give this place 10 stars if I could! Gareth and Eriko have truly created something special in Woodend. From the friendly and smiling front-of-house staff to the absolutely delicious Japanese cuisine, this restaurant is the best I've experienced outside of Tokyo. It checks all the boxes! I can only hope that we 'locals' can snag a table once the trendy folks from Melbourne discover how amazing this place is. Wishing you all the best on your exciting journey!
